Prediction and evaluation of Ordovician carbonate reservoir in YC1area

The depth of Ordovician carbonate reservoir in YC1 area is about 6000 m , which has strong lateral heterogeneity. The types of reservoir space are mainly cracks and holes. Based on carbonate seismic reservoir theory and carbonate geophysical response characteristics , by using the seismic amplitude variation , fine coherent technology , trend surface analysis technology , multiple attribute composite technology and 3D visualization technology , the YC1 area carbonate reservoir has been achieved comprehensive prediction.On the basis of this prediction , the YC1 area carbonate rock is divided into three karst abnormal band.Real drilling result shows that YC1 area with good prospects for oil and gas development.
