Genetic Mechanism of Secondary Pores in Clastic Reseroir Rock and Its Exploration Significance

  • The main types of secondary pores 'which is in large proportion to pores of elastic reservoir. rock deposited in the terrestrial lucastrine lakes in China include inter - granular pores, intra - granular pores, moldic pores and intra -cement solution pores. There are four types of genetic mechanism. thermal evolution of organic matter; infiltration of meteoric water, geologic activities in tile deep earth; and tectonic movement. The favorable areas for exploration of secondary pores are the following sandstone deposited during substage A or B of the late diagenetic stage, near sedimentary gaps, and zones with deep and large active translithospheric or lithospheric fractures. Research on the genetic mechanism of secondary pores 11as directive function to oil and gas exploration in Yanqi basin and Biyang depression.
