Thin Sand Reservoir Description under Complex Geologic Conditions

In view of the thin sand reservoirs under lain volcaniclayers in Tract 13 in Liaohe oilfield,reservoir calibrationtechnology of graded constraining was used to accuratelylocate the reservoirs.Correlation processing of the seismicdata of the objectives was also done by depth matchingresulting in higher seismic resolution and enhancedreflection from the thin sand layers.The relation betweenseismic charaeteristic parameters and reservoir parameterswas established through geologic multivariant statisticaland the planar prediction of reservoir parameters wasaccomplished.Finally,oil reserves were calculated throughvolume integral.
