Evaluation deployment of low permeability difficult-to-recovery reserves in Qi37 block

  • Qi37 block of Shuguang oilfield in the cooperative development area is a typical deep low permeability reservoir in Liaohe oilfield. Though the reserves were proved in 1999,the geologic reserves were not produced due to deep burial depth, poor physical properties of the reservoir and unclear deliverability in producing test wells. This paper focuses on the main contradiction in developing the deep reservoirs with low permeability, reviewing the geologic characteristics. Fifteen development wells were deployed integrally based on the structure determination, reservoir distribution and clear recognition of the deliverability. At the moment,14 wells are completed, and put into production. The average single well oil production is 11. 6t/d at the early stage and the cumulative oil production is 41925. 5t, In addition, it provides a new clue for the early phase evaluation on producing similar difficult-to-recover-reserves.
