Study on optimization design and practice of horizontal section length

According to the reservoir characteristics and the analysis of horizontal well development effect of D oilfield,the field is suitable for horizontal well development mode.Using Joshi horizontal well productivity model,through the sensitivity analysis of the productivity index under different permeability and crude oil viscosity sensitivity analysis and sensitivity analysis,the horizontal section length suitable for low viscosity high permeability reservoir is calculated.Whendetermining the optimal horizontal section length,economic costs,drilling technology and geological risk factors should be comprehensively considered.
