Application of Nanometer Material in Petrochemical Industry and Its Prospect

This paper introduces the application of nanometer material in petrochemical industry especially its application in catalyst and luboil on base of analysis of its crystal structure, surface features, adsorption characteristics and surface reaction characteristics. Nanometer material, as an active component or a supporter of catalyst, can remarkably improve activity, selectivity and high temperature caking capacity of catalyst. It also can be used as an additive to improve lubricity and load capacity of luboil.
