Optimization methods of development and production control in water drive oilfield

Abstract
In this paper, optimization methods of development and production control technology is established for water drive reservoirs. Different objective functions, variables and constraints are selected based on different requirements of decision-makers to create dynamic realtime reservoir production optimization model. Applying new non-gradient optimization algorithm to solve mathematical model, computational efficiency could be improved. The real-time optimal development scheme could be obtained by continuously regulating fluid production rate and injection rate. The theory of this article has been applied in Bohai typical oilfield, the water drive oil recovery can be increased by 1.7%.
