Optimum Calculation for Walking Beam of Pumping Unit

This paper points out the necessity of optimizing design of walking beam of pumping unit, gives the mathematical modle, introduces calculating methods and analyses the walking beam structure from the manufacturing and operating view, sets up overall boundary conditions, constraint condition and gives the example, saved material 8.7%,but bending modulus is almost same.
