Real-time remote data transmission system for SDL900 well logging device and its offshore application

A real - time remote data transmission system for SDL900 well logging device has been successfully devel- oped by Offshore Drilling Geology Company of Shengli Petroleum Administration Bureau. It can transmit real -time well logging data from offshore drilling platform onto the intranet of Shengli oilfield via communication satellite, thus sharing of data on the intranet can be realized and supervisors can remotely monitor field operation in their base offices. Application of this new data transmission system has promoted development of well logging technology and has improved benefits of oilfield exploration and production.
