    Abstract
  • This paper presents the production of road asphaltby blending furfural extract oil with propane deasphalted(PDA) asphalt in Nanyang Refinery. Study results showthat directly blending PDA asphalt with unprocessedfurfural extract oil can not produce qualified road asphalt.While blending dewaxed extract oil with PDA asphalt inthe right proportion can produce qualified 100# roadasphalt, the quality of which meets the SH0522-92Standards of Road Asphalt.
