INPEFA technique in stratigraphic division and correlation in J south block of Da'an oilfield

  • In the study of the stratigraphic division and correlation in south J block of Da'an oilfield,the hierarchical mark was not obvious in conventional well logging curve.In order to improve the accuracy and precision of the stratigraphic division and correlation,the maximum entropy spectrum analysis technology could be used to conduct INPEFA processing on GR curves to get the INPEFA curves,which can show trends and patterns that are not shown in the original log curve to enhance the vertical resolution of sequence stratigraphic division and clearly identify different levels of sequence interface.The Fuyang reservoir has been divided into one long-term base-level cycles,six mid-term baselevel cycles and twenty-one short-term base-level cycles through the multi-well correlation.On the basis of sequence stratigraphic classification,the stratigraphic framework of the Fuyang reservoir was established,which set a solid foundation for the method selection of comprehensive evaluation of reservoir and fine 3D geological modeling.
