Modeling method discussion of interlayer in thick reservoir——by taking Ed2 Ⅲ 31 sub-layer of A oilfield as an example

Effective prediction of interwell interlayer distribution is of great significance for remaining oil tapping and enhanced oil recovery.By taking Ed2Ⅲ31 sub-layer of A oilfield as an example,under the control of the isochronous stratigraphic framework,by application of the stochastic modeling method,under the constraints of plane and vertical distribution of sedimentary microfacies based on the single well facies analysis results,multiple-period of sedimentary microfacies distribution of the sub-layer has been effectively predicted,and it reveals the multi-stage sedimentary microfacies distribution and then spatial distribution of argillaceous interlayer.Through application of the research results,a number of exploration tapping measures have been carried out and it improves the single well production capacity.
