Application of curve reconstruction technology in fine reservoir prediction in east area of Maichen sag

  • The target layer of Weizhou formation in east area of Maichen sag developed thin inter-bedded sand mudstone reservoirs.The impedance difference between reservoirs and surrounding rock is smaller,and the lithologic recognition effect by the conventional wave impedance inversion is poorer and it is difficult to achieve the purpose of fine reservoir prediction.Through analytical analysis of reservoir logging response characteristics,gamma curves with better distinguish effect on sand- mudstone have been selected to carry out curve reconstruction. With reconstructed acoustic curve,seismic inversion has been carried out.The resolution of inversion profile and the precision of reservoir prediction has been improved,and therefore,good sand body prediction results have been achieved.
