Casing damage mechanism and prevention study of Wangguantun oilfield

With the further development in Wangguantun oilfield, the casing damage phenomenon becomes serious and the total amount of casing damage wells present obviously increasing trends, which directly affect the improvement of injection-production patterns and production. Therefore, by considering the geological, engineering and development factors, the main controlling factors of casing damage have been analyzed, and the corresponding prevention countermeasures have been put forward at the same time.
