Urea-assisted steam stimulation based on orthogonal design of heavy oil reservoir in Xinjiang oilfield

  • Steam stimulation assisted by urea can expand the volume of steam, accelerate oil recovery, increase oil-to-gas ratio, and ultimately improve oil recovery. Therefore, through numerical simulation and orthogonal design, the significance of different reservoir parameters on urea-assisted steam stimulation was systematically studied. The results show that the higher the reservoir thickness, the lower the viscosity, the higher the permeability, the lower the recovery degree, and the better the development effect. The mining limit is different under different oil prices, but the primary and secondary relationships affecting the multi-media auxiliary steam stimulation are the same. The primary and secondary relations are as the follows: the degree of recovery, oil layer thickness, crude oil viscosity, and permeability, which laid the foundation for mining policy research and block screening under different oil prices.
