Comprehensive prediction technology application of sand classification in reservoir evaluation

  • The main sedimentary environment of Fuyu oil layers of Changyuan area in Daqing oilfield belongs to deltaic front distributary channel and the distribution of sand bodies is mainly shot strip-shaped and lentoid-shaped.The sand bodies are characterized by stacked on the plane,inter-bedded with mudstone in vertical direction,small thickness of single sand unit,fast lateral variation and strong heterogeneity.In order to enhance the accuracy of reservoir prediction,a comprehensive prediction technology has been adopted.By making full use of the drilling data of exploration and appraisal wells,the sand body classification has been established based on the thickness of drilled reservoirs.In combination with seismic structure and sediment,the preferable sandstone areas have been optimized for wells deployment.The results indicate there are 106 deployed wells in all and the drilling success rate is over 80%.
