Consideration of technical path in late development stage of mature heavy oil blocks in Henan oilfield

On the basis of systematic review of the technical path in the late development stage of mature heavy oil blocks in Henan oilfield, in view of the internal contradictions between the reserves out of control, steam sweep and the low thermal utilization rate exposed in the late stage of steam stimulation, according to the characteristics of residual oil distribution, the development technology strategy of different implementation in different zones is put forward, namely low producing in high viscosity area, middle producing in middle viscosity area and high producing in low viscosity area, which can provide a new idea for prolonging the development life cycle of mature heavy oil blocks in Henan oilfield.
