An Improvement on Analytical Methods of Trace Hydrocarbon Content in Propylene
-
Abstract
Contents of trace hydrocarbons in propylene have large influences on polyreaction of propylene, yield of catalyst, transformation ratio of propylene and degree of isotacticity of products. The conventional analytical methods have the disadvantages of long analyzing time, low degree of separation and complex analytical system, and are not suitable for production control analysis. A stainless packed column with modified Al203 as fixed phase is used as chromatographic fractionation column to analyze hydrocarbons in propylene. Analyzing time is shortened, degree of separation is improved, and accurate analytical data are provided for polyreaction of propylene.
