Performance evaluation and influencing factors analysis on profile control agent in high temperature reservoir of Shuanghe oilfield

  • According to actual demands of Henan oilfield, the performance evaluation of gelling properties, injection performance and sealing ability of crosslinked polymer profile control agent which is suitable to high temperature reservoir profile were evaluated through laboratory researches. The results indicate that the cross–linked polymer viscosity is controllable in the temperature variationranging from 85 to 100℃ when the dissolved oxygen content is less than 0.5 mg/L. The cross–linked polymer has a good heat resistance performance and splendid property of injection, so it is applicable to high temperature reservoir. The organic aldehyde crosslinked polymer profile has a good injection ability in a wide range of permeability and can penetrate into the deep strata. The crosslinked polymer solution is easier to enter the high permeability layer, and it has selective entry capability for heterogeneous reservoirs. Compared with low permeability cores, it has a more obvious blocking effect in high permeability cores.
