Application of liquid level build-up curve in development of low permeability and low energy oilfields
-
Abstract
Dongzhuang and Yangpo blocks in Weigang oilfield are characterized by low permeability, low porosity, high pour - point and high wax content. Downhole electric heating technology is used in pumping wells and averaged daily oil production of single well is only 1 ton. Oil production cost is too high. In order to improve economic benefits, intermittent pumping production mode is applied. Two liquid level build - up curves are used to determine the rational intermittent pumping cycle. Field application effects are good, thus it is worth deployment in similar oilfields.
