Discussion on influencing factors of fracture geometry in thin interbedbed low permeability reservoirs

  • The main problems occurred in fracturing of thin interbedded low permeability reservoirs are narrow fracturing cracks,high pump pressure,great difficulty in sand fracturing,small scale of fracturing and obvious bad fracturing effect than that in single layer.Through the application of 3D fracturing design software,taking typical well fracturing as the example,the influencing factors of fracture geometry in thin interbedded low permeability reservoirs such as fracturing fluid rheological property,construction displacement,sand ratio,sand fracturing timing have been discussed.The operation results indicate by the use of thin layer fracturing technology,the goal of improving the fracturing effect can be achieved.
