Bit selection and application in Moxizhuang area

Bits that have been selected for use in the drilled wells in Moxizhuang area are not rational, resulting in relatively low ROP. Through analyzing drilling data of the drilled wells with software of rock mechanics analysis and bit selection and in combination with benefit index method, the bits are evaluated to select bit types that are suitable for use in this area. Field application of the selected bits shows that ROP is remarkably increased and economic benefits are improved.
