Lateral Reservoir Prediction of the Wen 23 Gas Field

The goal: performing lateral reservoir prediction through integrating all the geologic, seismic, logging, testing, drilling and production data and by using modern workstation technologies to provide basic data for reserves and productivity replacement. The methods: using relevant new theories, new technologies and new software, and combining with the geologic features of the Wen 23 gas field to perform lateral prediction of the Layer Sha Ⅳ. The results : having accomplished 3-D seismic amplitude-retention processing, fine structure interpretation, reservoir parameter prediction, hydrocarbon detection and comprehensive reservoir evaluation. The conclusion: having revealed the main properties and parameter distribution of the targets in the Wen 23 gas field.
