Application of Vibration Acidizing Technology in Baolang Oilfield

  • Vibration acidizing technology is a typical formation treatment method integrating physical treatment with chemical treatment. Baolang oil field is a low porosity and low permeability or low porosity and extra-low permeability oil pool in which the reservoirs have been severely damaged during drilling and well completion. Vibration acidizing technology is imported, improved and applied to recover formation damage. Eight wells have been field tested by the end of July, 1998 and success rate is 100%. This paper presents its principles, mechanism, technological characteristics and field application.
