Division and hierarchical modeling of buried hill reservoirs in Renqiu oil field

  • Renqiu buried-hill is a large bottom water carbonate reservoir which is composed of Wuminshan formation of Mesoproterozoic Jixian system. The reservoir is characterized by dual pore medium and it has entered the high water-cut and late development period at present. Taking the carbonate reservoir in Renqiu buried-hill for example, the article makes full use of seismic, drilling, logging, testing and experimental analysis data. By using imaging logging technique, it provides a fine evaluation criterion for the classification and identification of fractured reservoirs, and then the reservoir space type of Wuminshan formation reservoir in Renqiu buried-hill was subdivided into three levels from the original two levels. Based on fine logging interpretation and reservoir division, the reservoir grading facies model, the matrix attribute model, the discrete fracture network model and the fracture attribute model are established by using facies-controlled modeling and ant tracking and fracture network modeling technology. The reserves were reviewed and subdivided based on the reservoir levels, matrix and fracture. In the end, the hierarchical modeling of dual media reservoir is established, which provides the guarantee for the later numerical simulation and the residual oil distribution research.
