Reservoir characteristics and its controlling factors of H8 formation Jingbian gas field

The reservoir of lithic sandstone and lithic quartz sandstone has been widely distributed in H8 formaiton of Jingbi-an field,Ordos basin,where transverse distribution is rela-tively stable with the thickness of 55～ 65 m,which belongs to river-delta sedimentary. The reservoir space type are dominated by kaolin intercrystalling hollows-corroded hollow composites,developed with small intergranular pores、inner-grain corroded hollows,mould pores and micro-fracture. It is typical low porosity and extremely low permeability reservoir. According to log data ,cores,cast thinning,fluorescence photoes and physical properties datum,this pa-per analyzes H8 formation reservoir characteristics and points out the main controlling factors of sandstone reservoirs development are sedimentary microfacies and diagenesis in this area. Of these,diagenesis is dominated by construc-tive dissolution,alteration and destructive mechanical compaction.
