Favorable Exploration Targets on the North Slope in Nanyang Depression

Rich knowledge have been achieved on hydrocarbon accumulation conditions and distribution patterns in Nanyang depression through exploration activities and re-search over30years.The northern slope in Nanyang de-pression is the directional area of large scale migration of hydrocarbon.In this area,delta sandbodies are well devel-oped,3nose-like structural uplifts exist,and two fault groups of NW and NE trending developed,thus hydrocar-bon accumulation conditions are favorable.Three explo-ration targets are presented for further prospecting in this area including Guanzhuang-Weigang region,Baiqiu-Zhang-dian region and Dongzhaozhuang region.Additional reserves of10million tons are expected in these areas.
