Horizontal drilling and completion technique in heavy oil reservior with edge and bottom water of Xinhai 27 block

Aiming at the geologic characteristics and reservoir distrubuted features,the technology difficulties in the process of drilling and completion have been analyzed and then the corresponding technical measures have been proposed by analyzing the applied techniques such as well profile optimization,the optimized drilling parameters,well path control,pilot hole filling,selective completion and reservoir protection.The application practice proves that the horizontal well drilling and completion technology plays an important role in effective use of interwell remaining oil,controlling bottom water coning,which can improve development result and enhance oil recovery of Xinhai 27 block.
