Evaluation on the salt resistance of foam stabilizer for high temperature and high salinity oil reservoir

Foam flooding has been studied for more than 30 years in TOR (tertiary oil recovery).Being widely used in the field,it has seen good effect.Aiming at the character- istics of the high salt and temperature-resistant oil reser- voir,the salt resistance of several kinds of foam stabilizer has been evaluated respectively in different salt types,un- der the temperature of 80℃.The selected foam stabilizer HXYP has the optimal salt-resistant capability.Com- posing of 0.2% foam stabilizer HXYP and 0.2% foaming agent HXY-1,the foaming system has excellent charac- teristics when the concentration of sodium chloride/calci um chloride or salinity is 16×104mg/L,4×103mg/L, 14.18×104mg/L respectively under the same temperature of 80℃.
