Experimental discussion of heating release method in quantitative evaluation of adsorbed shale oil

  • By means of the heating release method, the quantitative evaluation of adsorbed oil in shale was explored. Through setting a reasonable temperature, the hydrocarbons of different existing states can be separated. It is found that the separation process can be divided into three stages. In the first stage, various occurrence states of oil are present, and the bulk state is first separated rapidly. In the second stage, the free state also comes out. The experimental value of the adsorption capacity can be obtained when the third stage is stable, and the relative change rate of adsorption data can be simulated to get a more accurate correction value. The capacity of adsorption of C_(12)H_(26) in each gram experiment sample is basically distributed between 2.80~3.30 mg. Based on the experimental research, a kinetic model for the volatilization of C_(12)H_(26) in rock samples was established, and the model fitting results were verified with the experimental results. This experiment has obtained the adsorbed shale oil content in shale system, which provides practical experimental technology for shale oil enrichment mechanism, shale oil resource assessment and mobility research.
