Study on synthesis and performance of a new type of polymer

  • The study on the temperature-resistant and anti-salt polyacrylamide has attracted the eyes of petroleum engineers in the world.To synthesize the ideal the temperature-re- sistant and anti-salt polyacrylamide of hydrophobic associa- tion type,the water repellent monomer Q11 is introduced to synthesize the polymer AM/Q11/AMPS with AM and AMPS through solution polymerization.Whether the poly- mer has a high molecular weight and good temperature-re- sistant and anti-salt performance is confirmed by measuring the intrinsic viscosity and the apparent viscosity of the poly- mer.Experimental results show that the synthetic polyacryl- amide of hydrophobic association type is characterized by good viscosity increasing and powerful thermal stability.
