Research and application of production regularity of thin interbedded reservoirs in L oilfield

  • L oilfield is a thin interbedded sandstone reservoir, which is in the middle and high water cut stage at present, and the monthly decline rate of newly drilled adjustment wells is 4.9%, which is much higher than the theoretical decline value, resulting in the difficulty of numerical simulation and productivity prediction. Therefore, on the basis of fine reservoir dynamic research, combined with the new logging interpretation results and drilling adjustment wells flooding pressure with drilling data, various types of reservoir in different production periods of the utilization status was analyzed, and the utilization regularity of thin alternating reservoirs was summarized. In combination with the principle of percolation mechanics, the relationship between formation conductivity factor and formation pressure drop was introduced in the numerical model by ROCKTAB keyword, and the index decreasing regularity of thin mutual reservoir is represented by similarity. The results show that the thin interbedded reservoirs encountered by the adjustment wells contribute to the production in the early stage, and reduce the production in the later stage or even some reservoirs have no production. This result has been applied in the comprehensive adjustment of pre-drilling position optimization in the existing oilfield area, which improves the fitting accuracy of existing wells and effectively guides the production allocation and index prediction of development wells.
