Drilling coring technology of Triassic tight reservoir in Yichuan basin

  • Aiming at the drilling coring difficulties, such as tight lithology, slow coring speed and low core recovery, through characteristics research on Triassic tight reservoirs, the core drilling bit, coring tool, drilling parameters and coring technology have been optimized and then a series of drilling coring technologies for Triassic tight reservoirs have been established. The field application in 3 wells indicates the core recovery is 98.36%, which is increased 17.37% compared with Tun-1 well. The core mechanical drilling rate is 2.76 m/h, which is 3.63 times of Tun-1 well. The application results indicate good effects and economic benefits, which provides good guidance for similar formation coring.
