Cretaceous reservoir identification of Chun-17 block in Chunguang oilfield

  • Chun-17 block of Chunguang oilfield is mainly of super heavy oil reservoir and has the characteristics of deep buried depth,thin thickness,complex lithology,and it is difficult to be identified.According to the old electrical recognition criteria of Chunguang oilfield,it is difficult to effectively depict the thickness of oil layer,and the main reasons are very developed calcareous sandstone,dense cementation and high resistivity reservoir.The highest resistivity can be high up to6Ω·m.However,only with the use of the resistivity to identify reservoir,there may exists big difference with the the actual situation of underground.Therefore,according to the results of drilling coring and sample analysis,by using the lithology,physical property,electric property and lubricity,combining with the exploration situation,the reservoir identification chart has been established.The chart can better determine oil layer,dry layer and water layer.
