A new method for hydraulic fracturing evaluation and its application in shale reservoirs

A new method for hydraulic fracturing evaluation in shale reservoir has been put forward and it is a revised calculation method of connectivity rate which is based on the principle of bandwidth projection.According to the theory of the revised bandwidth projection method,the computer program was implemented.The connectivity rate of fracture network after shale fracturing was calculated and then a rose diagram of connectivity rate was worked out,which could calculate the proportion of roses figure accounting for the semicircle.This method was applied to evaluate the fracture network system of laboratory hydraulic fracture test in shale reservoirs of Malongxi formation,Jiaoshiba area in Chongqing and a good effect was obtained.
