Reservoir accumulation conditions of high wax crude oil in northern Jingbei area, Damintun sag

  • Through the analysis of reservoir accumulation conditions, such as the hydrocarbon source rock distribution, oil source contrast and structure of the high wax crude oil in the northern Jingbei area, Damintun sag, it is concluded that Anfutun and Shengdong depressions are two large oil source supply areas, the oil shale of Es4 formation and high waxy oil have a genetic relationship, and the oil shale of Es4 formation is the main source of high–paraffinic oil source rock. The main accumulation period of the area is from Es1–2 to Dongying mid–term. The sand channel, unconformity of bedrock and faults in Shahejie formation are the main channels for hydrocarbon migration in this area. The bedrock buried hill which is in contact with source rock has a good relationship of reservoir, and the cap rock is the exploration target in this area.
