Features of Fluid Pressure Compartment in Carboniferous and Permian in Bashituo Structure and Its Significance in Petroleum Exploration
-
Abstract
Bashituo structure developed mainly in Hercynian period. Hydrocarbon enriched and oil(gas) accumulation formed in Carboniferous and Permian in Bashituo structure during late Hercynian. Rapid subsidence during Himalayan period resulted in a fluid pressure compartment on the basis of paleo -accumulation in Bashituo structure. This paper describes the development features and genesis of the fluid pressure compartment and its significance in oil and gas exploration.
