A Research on Natural Drifting Pattern in For-mations in Anpeng Alkali Mine and Application

The n atural drifting pattern of trajectory in formations in Anpeng alkali mine is stu died.Well profile is designed based on statistics of logging data.Relational e quation be-tween horizontal displacement and vertical depth is estab-lished b y using regression theory.This paper presents the formation azimuth,natural dr ifting pattern in formations and optimal design of wellhead coordination.It has been ap-plied in4wells with the averaged single well drilling cycle reduced4 7.15%,drilling rate of a trip increased86.95%,and penetration rate increased47.00%.
