Study on reservoir prediction at the development stage of Bohai Z oilfield

After several years' exploration and development efforts in a district of Bohai, it has formed a certain scale of oilfields group. The structure-lithology reservoir, mainly from Neogene Minghuazhen fluvial reservoirs, accounts for a large proportion. In order to better promote the exploration and development for this area, Z oilfield of Boihai was taken as an example, the geophysical methods of reservoir prediction based on the geophysical response characteristics was summarized, and then forming the reservoir prediction technology portfolio of this oilfield as well as this area in the development stage according to the reservoir characteristic such as thin thickness, poor continuity, rapid lateral variation and other major features. Based on the above study, Z oilfield development has achieved good results and a number of wells have been confirmed.
