Seismic reservoir prediction of underwater distributary channel sand bodies and its application in the horizontal wells
-
Abstract
The main reservoir types of B oilfield are lithologic and structure-lithologic reservoir based on complex faulted-blocks and faulted-nose structures, with the characteristics of low degree of reservoir development, small thickness of single sand body, quick lateral variation, poor degree of superimposition of sand bodies and complex relationship of oil-gas-water in vertical direction. Aiming at the problems mentioned above, on the basis of fine horizon calibration, the method of sparse impulse inversion combined with attributes synthetic analysis has been adopted to carry out reservoir prediction. Under the guidance of synthetic analysis of seismic data and geology, in combination with logging facies, sedimentary facies, analysis results of seismic correspondence, the understandings of geophysical correspondence and the geology have been both considered so as to make clear the relationship between underwater distributary channel and geologic mode, as well as successfully provide a good reference for horizontal well design of underwater distributary channel and has achieved better application effect.
