Identifying Oil and Gas Shows in Deep Series of Strata in Anpeng Oilfield

Oil and gas shows in the deep series of strata in Anpeng oilfield have the characteristics of high volati-bility, weak fluorescence and low abnormality, thus are difficult to recognize. This paper analyzes the causes of its formation and presents some methods to identify light hydrocarbon-bearing layers including full fluorescence scanning technology, utilization of ethane as an alternative reagent of organic solvent and timely geo-chemical analysis.
