Identification Methods of Reservoir Sensitivity Damage and Case Study

Beginning with petrology analysis of reservoirs, this paper introduces the causes of 4 kinds of sensitivities of sandstone reservoirs and their functional principles. In oil and gas development practice, reservoir protection and modification measures should be selected based on deep understanding of the principles of formation damage. The methods presented in this paper can be used as reference in exploration and development of similar sandstone reservoirs in terrestrial multiple oil and gas bearing areas.
