Provenance system research of Jurassic Toutunhe formation in 2,4blocks of the middle of Junggar basin

Jurassic Toutunhe formation has become a key breakthrough in 2,4 blocks of the middle of Junggar basin,while the prospecting degree is low and the understanding of source system is unclear at present,which greatly affected the research on sand body types and distribution characteristics,and hindered the process of lithologic reservoir exploration in this region.With comprehensive utilization of the latest drilling and seismic data,combined with peripheral field reconnaissance,and on the basis of previous studies,a comprehensive analysis of provenance systems of Toutunhe formation has been carried out.The results indicate the provenance is mainly controlled by north-east Kelameili Mountain,and a delta- lake sedimentary system has been formed.Through the research,the main reservoir types have been made clear,namely the delta distributary channel sand dam and the beach bar.
