Study of sedimentary microfacies in the 2nd member of Hetaoyuan Formation in Zhangdian oilfield, Nanyang Depression

Sedimentary facies study is to analyze sedimentary and distribution characteristics of sandbodies in respect of genesis. Based on comprehensive analysis of core and log-ging data, over 10 types of rock facies, 8 facies groups and 6 sedimentary microfacies are identified in the Hetaoyuan Formation in Zhangdian oilfield, Nanyang depression. A framework of 2D high resolution geologic correlation is built for the 2nd member of Hetaoyuan Fm of delta facies and the characteristics of combination and plane distribution of sedimentary microfacies in different periods are analyzed. It is pointed out that the underwater distributary channel sandbodies, mouth bar and gravity flow sandbodies are favorable reservoir facies belts in the study area.
