Study and application of new fracturing technology in Lukeqin heavy oil reservoir

  • Lukeqin heavy oil reservoir is a loose sand reservoir, with the characteristics of thick oil layers and strong intraformational heterogeneity. At the early stage, general fracturing way was adopted, but the vertical effect of oil layers was not good and the renovation was not balanced, seriously influencing the fracturing effect. Therefore, new fracturing technology in thick oil layers has been put forward. Compared with traditional technology with stratified fracturing, the new technology implements fracturing in separate thick layers. Through the optimization of K344 paker, matching tools and implementation design, two-layer or three-layer fracturing without pulling string technology has been realized. At the same time, the matching technologies, such as high temperature delayed crosslinked fracturing fluid system, big hole perforation, oil layer pretreatment before pressuring, whole sand filling and the technology that can effectively control fracture height and improve post fracture response have been respectively formed. In 2011, the technology has been applied 19 well times, with the construction success rate of 84.2% and the effective rate of 94.7%. The practical application results show the new technology has achieved obvious economic benefits and has good application prospect in Lukeqin oilfield.
