Advanced water flooding development analysis of Chang 6 reservoir in Hejiawa area of Zibei oilfield

Chang 6 reservoir is the main producing oil layers of Zibei oilfield, with the characteristics of low permeability, low porosity, low pressure and complicated oil-water relationship underground. If fracturing technoglogy is applied to oil wells, the producing energy is especially low, the energy deficit becomes serious and the production declines quickly. In order to solve these problems, through geological analysis of this area, the feasibility study of water injection and the necessity of supplemental energy have been analyzed. Besides that, the water flooding timing and injected water volume have been discussed, which provides good guidance for Chang 6 reservoir development effect.
