New method of water drive characteristic curve to identify gas field production decline type

The water drivecurve is inherent characteristic curve for the water drive development oilfield, and it has been used in forecasting producing reserve and the recovery ratio. The water drive curvelaw is one of important methods to forecast the oilfield futuredevelopment tendency and recovery ratio. This method wascombined the water drive curve law and the production decline law, and it is a new method to judge decline type afterwater drive reservoir entering decline period.
