Diverting and Acidizing Technique and Its Application

  • This artic1e introduces the princip1e of diverting and acidizing, well selection and treatment requirements. The effective ratio in 24 wells(77 layers)treated is 97.6%, the accumulated water injection rate 55697O m3 /d. Cost saving is up to 4.8179 million Yuan (RMB), and average effective time 181 days with some still effectivc. As a further improved method based on conventional acidizing, the technique has no damage to the formations. It is applicable to the wells that have multiple zones, thin sublayers and zones with large variance of physical roperties, and the wells that can not be separated by packers.Multilaycrs can be treatcd in only one trip with the technique.
