Mechanical Releasing Water Plugging Technology for Φ178mm Casing Wells

This paper describes the structures and working principles of the mechanical releasing water plugging string and the matching tools for use in Φ178mm casing wells and briefly introduces the field test results. It has the advantages of super sealing capacity, long plugging life and reliable releasing properties and can meet the requirements of plugging any layers in Φ 178mm casing wells.
