Application of multiwell logging constrained wave impedance inversion technology in Si2 block in Junggar Basin

  • The most prominent characteristics of logging constrained wave impedance inversion technology are to offset the limited seismic bandwidth by using the abundant high frequency information and complete low frequency component. Taking available geologic information and logging data as constraints, this technology can achieve high resolution wave impedance data through inversion, which provide a reliable foundation for fine characterization of reservoir. Multiwell constrained inversion technology is used to finely describe and study the oil-bearing sandbodies in Si2 block. Seismic interpretation results are enriched, the overall interpretation accuracy is improved, interbeded thin reservoirs are successfully identified. Seismic inversion theory and its application effects are also discussed in this paper.
